I don't use CCleaner Driver updater BETA and other driver updater app because I don't trust it. I like to download driver from manufacturer site and install driver on my main PC. I use Snappy Driver Installer on my brother's old PCLast edited by f23948; 09 Jun 2021 at 17:56.

I do not use any driver updater tool as they are way too unreliable.
Some go by the drivers date, others by version(and in the process pickup alpha & beta versions).
I get mine either by the hardware site(not the motherboard site as they are generally too old and not updated when drivers have security advisories).
Or I get them from @MoKiChU, who for gamers and benchmarking OC enthusiasts is a godsend, because he posts driver-only packages, with out the bloatware; i.e: Intel SATA/RAID drivers with out the IRST bloat, or internet drivers without the PROSet bloat. When benching you don't need that junk running in the background.
