Screen video capture for windows 10

    Hi...
Does anyone know of a free video capture software that will record screen on windows 10 like fraps used to record on windows 7... A software that does not run on windowed mod and that shows mouse pointer and will record screen when gaming at least 30 FPS... Thanks

If you are looking for a good screen capture free program that is compatible with windows 10
check out OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).
    Please see post below...

    Screen Capture for Windows 10

I have been needing a screen capture software program for windows 10.
The screen capture software that comes with windows 10 did not fit my needs.
I found quite a few but the ones I found did not play well with windows 10.
OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)Free, open source software for live streaming and recording.
OBS Does play well with windows 10. It takes a bit of setting up and it's NOT very straight forward.
If help is needed there site has quite a bit of information on there home page just
look at it closely and navigate to the information you need.
If your computer skills are better than average you should be able to set it up to fit your needs.
There is also a lot of tutorials on youtube some good some bad.
My computer is pretty beefy... 6 core Cpu 4.0 Mhz,16 gigs of ram, ssd drives, windows 10 pro...
If you running single core cpu and 2 gigs of ram you might run in to problems...
I don't know the minimum specks for OBS but duel core cpu and 4 gigs of ram should be Ok... (I Think)
Below is the link for the OBS site...
    Open Broadcaster Software - Download
I made a small video for you to preview how well OBS captures your screen, and your games... (Enjoy):)

I also upgraded to Windows 10 recently, and my option for taking screen capture is by using the free screen recording function provided by ShowMore, it allows me to record online class lecture for reviewing. Idk whether it's good for your needs, maybe you can try it yourself.
