I've recently switched to Outlook 2013. Still needs polish though.

I've missed Movie Maker being stripped from windows 10 so that's good to know one will be available on the store soon! Hope it's not too long to wait

I presume movie maker is still not available on the store? I did search and saw there was a 'movie moments' app by Microsoft available. Is this alternative to movie maker they were hinting at?

A timely reminder. Your link is to the Web installer. That will (probably) cease functioning after Jan 10th. If you'd like the Offline Installer so you can install any time after that, then the link is here.

Just re-installed them on Build 15042, (twice!), both installers still work.

Apparently, there is still no suitable alternative for Movie Maker:
(From MS or 3rd party developers)
(If they appear as something like Paint 3D, I'll stick with the classic apps!)

So in September Microsoft were planning to make a Window 10 Store version of Movie Maker, but now they've given up?

That doesn't say a lot for how easy it is to develop Windows 10 Store apps, then!

Perhaps they're relying on a 3rd party to develop a decent one.
    I haven't seen a suitable one yet!

Photo Gallery is still tops with it's endless array of options and features!
(I dislike waiting for UP apps to load!)
