Data files not saving correctly [File names but zero byte files]

I recently installed IObit Uninstaller and it seems to work OK. If first uninstall the applications as usual and then does a deep scan and finds all traces in Registry and folders/files. Then it removes everything completely. Try that. You may also have to uninstall completely the main application and reinstall it, that's why I told you it will take the whole day. But if it is to avoid reinstalling Windows, go for it!

Finally gave up and reinstalled Windows after speaking with the developers on skype. Think my smbolic links had got corrupter in the registry somehow with the public douments. Everything alse symlink wise was fine.

The sad truth is that sometimes we spend more time trying to avoid a format that we would spend doing it. Don't feel bad. Even us technicians do that, we try to avoid the unavoidable...
