    Busted apps

    Here we go again! After last patch tue, Calendar, mail, alarms/clock will not start, show tiles, but won't start. (Insider 10586). Upgraded my other partition from 10240 to 10586, (NOT insider) all is fine. What is the "current" fix"??? Anybody? Already tried in-place upgrade and all the SFC/DISM stuff. Only seems to happen if the app relies on comm (live tile) Groan........

    Go to Command Prompt (admin).....type powershell.....Enter .....copy/paste this command line
    Get-appxpackage -all *shellexperience* -packagetype bundle |% {add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode ($_.installlocation + “\appxmetadata\appxbundlemanifest.xml”)}
    ..... Enter.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
    Don't do that. I had problems with Groove Music crashing and I ran that not only did it not fix Groove Music from crashing but it broke several apps including the store they were missing icons and just crashed on startup. Also they names like kdjf9043ur4390_store. I had to do a refresh. You might have to do the same.

    This is why I hate windows apps. Never in my life had iOS or Android corrupted apps that required a factory refresh. All I had to do was either uninstall the apps or if I could not just delete the app data but windows won't let you clear app data or anything.
