    Polderbits Program move frustration

    Hello,
I have the Polderbits sound recorder and editor program that I want to run on a new computer.
I can't simply re-install it because the company is no longer in business and a new program key is not available.
It does run OK on the old computer. I have copied the program to the new computer.
I have tried to identify and make the necessary registry changes on the new computer to allow the program to run.
So far, I have been unsuccessful. Maybe the Access key is being checked against the Program Code. If it is I can't find the program code in the registry. I can find the access key and I have put it in the new registry in two places.

I am looking for a advice on how to make this move successful.

    Original purchase information:

    New (4-18-10) 64 bit version
Order #: 13808054 - PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor

    Hi,

I'm having the same problem as Frank C and would like to know if you can help me with Polderbits 64-bit version as well. Many years ago I purchased Polderbits 32-bit version then I went ahead and purchased 64-bit version to use it on my old Windows 7 Pro PC.
Bought a new Windows 10 Dell/XPS Desktop PC and installed 64-bit version. Since the company went out of business I can not have my new key created for this new desktop pc.

I can't help with Polderbits (haven't heard about this program for a long time). But "Audacity" is the most often used free program for recording audio, editing, etc. I have a recording studio so I don't use Audacity but as noted its the most often cited free audio program.

I have used Audacity before. Unfortunately it can't compare with the easy of use found in PolderBits. I was hoping to find a way to recreate polderbits software key on my new Windows 10 machine.

    I appreciate your quick response.
