could be my fault when I created the shortcut I removed the .exe have now added this back and have copied both shortcuts to the program folder but still not showing up in start menu.....do I need to nest the shortcuts in a folder in the program folder ?
yes created shortcuts from .exe files........should be such an easy task, always right click on shortcut add to start menu.....why isn't it working for these two apps ??? driving me mental
worked ok on 32 bit Windows 10 laptop but not on Windows 10 pro 64 bit any reason you can think of
thanks
Actually not. I just did one for a batch file I have with a shortcut that runs elevated. here are the steps I did.
First I created my shortcut to the desktop
Then I placed it in the start menu/programs folder
Then it appears as New in All Apps, Which I right click and pin to Start Menu.
There it is.

I right clicked on blaze media pro in the programs menu on my laptop and it was in the programdata folder
just downloaded a small program called speccy and it's not in the programs list and right clicking does not pin it to start menu, but can pin to task bar.....almost looks like the pin to start menu is ghosted, doesn't seem as dark.....do I have a problem ?
thanks
