    Any word on App Connector?

It's one of the preinstalled WinRT apps on W10. Can't figure out exactly what it does. There's an app with similar name in the Windows Store, but I think it's meant for finding public transit or something. There's also applications for connecting to Windows Server, but not sure if it's related to this app.

So not exactly sure what App Connector does. One guess I had is giving the ability for Windows apps to connect to apps from other OS? But still don't really have any verification.

It's my understanding that apps from other companies such as Google will synchronize with W10. For example, W10 has Outlook Mail, OneDrive, and Calendar apps that integrate with W10 features such as Action Center for visual and audio notifications.

However, what if a user doesn't want to use those? They use Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive. Or some other third party app for these purposes. Supposedly, W10 gives third party apps the ability to have the same level of integration. MS would have your login information and password for your Google account stored on their servers (then use this information from millions of users to hack and blow up Google?).

I'm guessing that the App Connector has something to do with this sort of third party app integration?

I'm also interested if anyone knows for sure, I uninstalled it and haven't noticed any issues yet.

Why does this seem to be so shrouded in mystery? I checked around online, and couldn't fine any info.
