    I managed to fully recover my data and eventually to make my system bootable again. After some playing with the Win10PESE and ImageHealth tools, I have a (nearly completely) healthy computer.

    Special great THANKS to Kyhi and all helpful contributors !

    P.S. I still have a couple of corrupt files but I know why and how they got corrupted adn they are not critical for my daily use. If one day I decide to make a completely healthy system, I will post here the diagnostic log files created by ImageHealth.

    Choosing Option 0 to close the program as it creates a txt file on your desktop = Dism Details.txt

    Post those three txt files.... So we can see what is happening and what file(s) are being found as corrupt..

    You can also run option 7 and post the SFC Details.txt file created on your desktop

    yea, I know I don't use the wordpad or remote desktop but wasn't sure if the sys info link was important, thanks. Will just ignore.

    Now I got 4 bad files and can't make the dism find the source file, how can I force the source file to be used, thanks.

    The windows Image (disk) may not contain the file > if the file came from a windows update

    again post the details as is shows the file version..
    the folder location refers to the C:\Windows\WinSxS folder
