The other major difference is incremental as well as differential backups but tbh I rarely use either.
I can't say for sure they work but both Incremental and Differential are in the Menu's with Macrium Free , I Usually run a Full weekly, then Diff. in between every 3 days .

I have a small Raid0 data Array (1.8TB) on this computer so I thought perhaps the Iso didn't have the Raid Drivers (ICH10R) necessary for Macrium to Run/identify the drives , it would start then just seem to be trying to load or identify something and never actually open , and I'd have to force close it , I could try logging it or something for you if you told me how.

Maybe your new Iso is just popular :) , it has finally finished downloading , so hopefully it isn't corrupt. Is it ok to use Rufus 2.9 to put it on USB ?

No need to use Rufus, Just Mount and Copy Files
    Or extract ISO to USB

But what ever you prefer... I have never used Rufus...

Oh easier than I thought , just always used Rufus before, thanks.

Rufus is very easy and pretty fast , been using it for years.

Not as fast as this. Take 3 seconds to unzip using any WinPE ISO:

You'd be right there :) been meaning to try that Macrium Relect 2GB Drive Trick too

I have used Rufus in the Past as I thought I needed it to make the USB Bootable , perhaps that isn't needed anymore?

Should the USB Drive be Fat32 or NTFS Formatted? does it matter?

If using UEFI - USB/Partition has to be Fat32 Format
If using Legacy - Format can be either..

    >>
So all three SHA Tags match
    My PC - creator
    Toolslib - host
    Your PC - user

MRF may have it in the menu but if you click on it a message pops up saying incremental images are not available on free version.
