I have never used the Add option anyhow:), and about MBAM, if Kyhi wants to add that in he will, but his tool is created to repair Windows, and not as an offline anti malware anyhow. I was just trying to see if I could run certain "installed" programs from my Win10 installation in the PE environment, as I have a lot of tools, for me, that would also be useful. And I could
Well after playing around with 7zip......I changed the View option to double pane, and then I could copy those 2 files into the boot.wim/ syswow64 folder So......then told 7zip to check the boot.wim file for errors and 7zip found no errors inside the boot.wim file. So those two files are now in the sysWoW64 folder.......don't know if Mbam will work.....but I did find a way to copy them.

I also did the same thing you tried, I ran a few programs from inside the recovery usb stick, like ccleaner, and it did run without any problems......Actually if he took OUT Acronis from the recovery program, then users would not have to disable secure boot!!! I see no reason to have acronis on the recovery usb, as it already has Macrium Reflect, and that's all you need.

Well I can't run Malwarebytes, from my C-drive. Even after putting in the sfc.dll and sfc_os.dll files. Get an Exception error from Mbam.
But, I tried a few other programs from my C-drive and I could run SuperAntiSpyware from the USB stick. only difference was it ran a the free version, not registered. Also found out you can't add any programs like Chrome while on the recovery USB stick. When I tried it reported no Internet Connection. and I was on the internet. lol No big deal as I am just playing around with it right now.
Also.....seems to add a shortcut to the desktop, to any program I run from the startup menu....no idea why...

Just for information purposes I am running this flash drive with 32GB of memory, and the flash drive is a 3.0 16GB drive.

Kyhi built this WinPESE for his PC so he installed the driver for his Network Adapter and perhaps yours is different and that's why you have no internet connection.

Does not matter whether you use 1 GB or 16GB. His WinPE is only 7, 8 hundred MB. Everything is loaded into RAM and run from there, after the PC boot up, you could remove the stick and the PC still run.

I have succeeded in getting MBAM to run from within PE
Waiting for RTM release to do final testing before updating ISO's

PE has the Basic Audio, Display and Network Drivers included..

Win10 requires the use of PENetwork to make the network connection...

Not ALL needed drivers are included in Setup media - so one would have to Export the Host Drivers..

Use device manager to update driver from host PC into PE

Some drivers load without a reboot, others require a reboot and if that the case the drivers has to be added to boot.wim

My network drivers are by default are included in setup media - thus included in PE - same as other default drivers..

So PE is generic and nothing different required for my PC or any special considerations made for my use..

Ok that explains it a little more, because it shows 2 network adapters, one is not being used, the other is. Also I DO have an internet connection!! Can log on to any web page I want too. Just have to use the browser already installed on this recovery stick. :)

I was away for three days and missed all the action in Win PE recovery discussion.
Thanks, Kyhi for your work in this area.
Much appreciated, will download and play in a few days!

Is their a way to uninstall a app that you have installed in your Recovery PE program Kyhi?? I am speaking of Acronis, if Acronis was not on that recovery PE than I would not have to turn off my secure boot option??
