What do you mean by a Local Problem?

I just tested my new Kyhi V.17 USB on my new Laptop and got the same issue as mkr100001

It Crashed the laptop after about 60 secs when I was trying to FS Capture the Error Message , tried twice thinking it was a once off error then came to check out the thread...
I downloaded from a different link , I think the first one was the first major geeks link and it worked after the redownload. Couldn't solve my problems though sadly

Thanks for the Reply mkr10001 , I downloaded from Both MajorGeeks links and the SHA256 Hash did not match the Original File , so Kyhi has deleted the MG Links from the OP incase there is something nefarious in those links....best to check the Hash. The Download Button in the OP takes you to ToolsLib instead and that file is 100% ok and working..

Hello, ive been having problems with my laptop for days now and this is some what of a last attempt for me but ive been having this problem here: boot - Windows 10 installation stuck at purple screen - Super User , and I've tried a lot of websites that gave me some bit and pieces of information but nothing seems to work. I did, however, get Kyhi's recovery drive to work on my laptop when nothing else would, but I'm not sure where to go from there either.
    I'm kinda lost.
I'm also having this same problem here: Windows 10 install - (USB UEFI) blue/purple screen and won't install Solved - Windows 10 Forums , but I never get the command window and I'm not upgrading or installing a new version of Windows 10, I'm only trying to repair my system.
Sorry if this is hard to understand, if needed i can try to explain everything a little more in depth, but my brain is fried and I need some help with this.

At this point one would restore a backup image...
I would be safe to assume - you do not have one ?
The reason for the Black screen after an update could be many..

Use the rescue media to access, recovery and save all you personal files - before you go further around messing with things...

Once you have saved your files you can open a new thread and troubleshoot the computer.
Place a link into this thread for the new thread.

    Hi @Kyhi - just a suggestion.

Maybe it is worth upgrading text in initial post to tell people about using the win10pxe tool as an alternative to make the new tool more visible to users.

I know it is stickied but I think people get drawn to this original post simply by its title.

Hey, so I ran the PESE_BootMenu_Option.7z UEFI batch file in step 4. Some things came up and now I want to reverse it what it did. How would I go about doing that? Thanks

    From "RUN" Box
    Type> Msconfig
    Select "Boot" Tab
    Select The PESE Menu Entry
    Hit Delete Button

I have the latest update Windows 10 on an MSI laptop, GT80 SLI, is this procedure still valid? I cannot scan 145 pages in this thread. Can someone give me a summary?

    See the first few posts.
The tool worked on one of my computers just one month ago.
Create a new thread and people will help.
