I think it's always one more than what is currently available :)Funny though, how many Tools / programs does one need to recovery a PC ???
The problem is it's such a good tool people are using it for a lot more than recovery.

I would NOT bet against that statement....The problem is it's such a good tool people are using it for a lot more than recovery.
New to the forum and UEFI in general. I resell Dell Optiplexes but up until the advent of the Optiplex 3050 a month ago Dell never used UEFI on their Optiplexes. Anyway... I downloaded the X64 BRD and burned it to a flash drive. It booted on a Optiplex 3040 in Legacy mode but when I boot it on this Optiplex 3050 running UEFI it crashes with a black screen\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD 0x000000f the boot configuration data for your PC is missing or corrupt.
I have tried turning off secure boot. It is a fresh install of the Creator release. For what it is worth it made 3 partitions on the hard drive. A 450MB "Recovery" partition, a 100MB "EFI System Partition" and finally a 250GB system.
What am I doing wrong? Can't seem to get it to boot.
Thanks Ztrucker. The partitions are GPT. It was a fresh install of Version 1703 just this morning and UEFI was enabled. I used ISO to USB. Will try Rufus and see if it make and difference.
Excellant call Ztrucker. ISOtoUSB didn't have the GPT option. Burned it with Rufus and it took right off. Thanks a million!
All you had to do was format your USB to fat32 and then copy contents of ISO to that USB..
UEFI needs Fat32 partition to be bootable...
Legacy boot can be either..

ISOtoUSB did format it as FAT32. Still didn't work. You had a typo above. Is what you are saying all that needed to be done is format it FAT32 then copy the files in the ISO at that point? No need for ISOtoUSB or Rufus?.
