It is not as simple as explaining a few commands..
It requires you to have an understanding of what you are trying to do and how to do it..

Besides, the generic windows 10 driver works flawlessly for the intended purpose of this media..

Found an issue opening the "Acrylic Wi-Fi Home" program - it complains about PresentationNative_v0400.dll.

This is using the unchanged .wim from winpese-x86-14393_17.01.16.iso

Bitlocker and everything else works which is great... I included the Acrylic error report incase it is useful - it is generated in .exr format which I don't understand though.

    Acrylic Error report.exr.7z

I haven't (yet) added my Wi-Fi drivers so this was a clean version. I wasn't booting the ISO if it makes a difference - I just copied the boot.wim file into a unlocked recovery partition on my SSD and booted that (and put your picture in the autorun.inf :) )

    X86 ISO
    "X:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\WPF\PresentationNative_v0400.dll" exists
    "X:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64" - path doesn't exist

X64 ISO -both exist (and the application works)

Apologies for another request, I've just dumped the PE I've been making for some years and decided to use yours instead as it's better. No point reinventing the wheel...

I was wondering how easy it would be to add "Change Input Method" to the control panel.

I've changed default keyboard in boot.wim with Dism /Image:E:\Temp /Set-InputLocale:fr-FR which works fine. I use this layout most often but have PCs with various different keyboards.

Based on this link you can set your keyboard to en-GB using
    PHP Code:
    x:\Windows\system32>wpeutil SetKeyboardLayout 0809:00000809
    or hu-Hu using
    PHP Code:
    x:\Windows\system32>wpeutil SetKeyboardLayout 040e:0000040e
This works absolutely fine (once you close and open the running application) but you have to look up the codes and perhaps isn't obvious.

If it wasn't too hard to do adding support to change keyboard (perhaps through control panel input method) would help those using non QWERTY keyboards a lot I think.

The easiest way, using existing ISO would be to use (Modify-WinPE)
Mount the boot.wim and save those commands as .bat files on the default desktop

thus no need to lookup code..

What happen If I don't have a UEFI bios?

I have two S.O. in my machine in TWO different HDD. Why the tool sees only ONE (the first) S.O. ignoring totally the second HDD with the second S.O.?

Why you don't call the tool Kyhi's Win10PESE?

The media BOOTS > UEFI and Legacy
Media should see all the Partitions on all the disks, unless hidden, then you would have to assign drive letters to hidden partitions

    Hi Kyhi...
Used your Modify Winpese script to modify your winpe, added some portable apps in the wim image as an test...
After it finished recompiling the image, the iso image was 2GB+ ..
When I tried to boot it on my another laptop, with 12GB RAM, it failed to boot and said "not enough memory available"
(i wrote the image with the latest rufus on my usb memorystick..)
I guess it is referring to the created ramdisk by the winpe.
Is there any way to add more memory for the disk,or could you please add the option in your script, or atleast tell
how much stuff in megabytes is allowed to be had totally.

the ISO image is 2+ GB > which means the extracted OS is almost 3 times that ???

    Try removing some program files....

Since the Mini-OS is loaded into memory - you also have to keep in mind how much memory is needed by the Mini-OS programs and the PC system..

Funny though, how many Tools / programs does one need to recovery a PC ???
