Just wondering... is there any advantage to the x64 over x86.. curious as to it's 2:1 popularity... EFI maybe?

Hi Kyhi
Ref your post #2 this thread...
Two problems
1) The link you provided for 'Preferred Windows 10 Setup Media' is now no longer valid
2) Image Health downloads a 7z file which I can't open or extract any contents.
Any suggestions?

A1) MS removed the TechBench Link - So use ImageHealth Option 16
A1-1) Or You can use > https://gist.github.com/mkuba50/27c9...9be4b4075a66ff
A2) You can get 7-zip > http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
I use .7z over .zip because it creates a smaller size file (Better Compression)
Use this little program instead, it is updated regularly:
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool

I've been making custom PE boot discs for a while. I tried this out, and it's pretty good. I did add quite a bit to it, however. I added MiniXP and MiniLinux one can boot into for lower-end OS utilities; Grub4Dos, GParted, Kon-Boot, eXtended FDisk, Victoria, NTFS4Dos, Microsoft DaRT, a large array of DOS GUI brand-specific hard drive utilities and offline password bypass tools, memory and system diagnostic tests, NTFS DOS Pro, SMART Drive live readings and a plethora of other things. Added QEMU so I can run these commands from within the PE environment, and also updated the .wim with the registered version of Macrium Reflect (which I actually did pay for and use on my desktop/laptop).
I find your side programs very convenient, too. I was never fond of typing Dism commands. :)
I was talking about the one's of DrEmpiricism
