    System Restore Points Gone Missing

the issue is reported - with System Restore Points gone missing
when dual booting windows 7 and windows 8/10..

If you are dual booting 7 and 8/10

This is done with REGEDIT while in the Windows 7 Host OS

Open regedit and expand > HKEY Local Machine System

Then Expand > SYSYEM and scroll to > Mounted Devices

right clicking on Mounted devices and select NEW and KEY = Offline

right click on Offline and select NEW and DWORD = \DosDevices\X:

( where X is the driver letter assigned to the Windows 8/10 OS Partition(s) )

right click \DosDevices\X: and click modify - enter value 1

    Hi,

I did it using IE and failed too, when it got 99% showed the message: "This download was interrupted"... My friend is downloading for me, he told me that the first file was ok (x86) but I need x64. Thank you anyways!

Edited: At my friend's work (that the internet is better) it can't be downloaded too. The file x86 look like ok, but x64 is strange, when you monitor the download can see that it stops, goes and in the end it doesn't work. If it's possible to upload it on another server, I thank will you.

    Added option the run checkdisk
changed from mounted install.wim to using un-mounted install.wim (faster)
