Not a clue, sorry...
Greetings, (and thanks in advance for such a great work!)
I'm trying to modify an older WinPE SE version (WinPESE_x86 20160125.iso) using the script provided (modify-winpese_17.01.25.zip). I'm only interested in replace the wallpaper.
However, (following the correct steps related in Readme) when I want to create the modified x86 ISO, I'm stuck in this error:
ERROR: Unable to create file "C:\Users\pc\Desktop\Modify-WinPESE\WinPESE_X86_186/01.iso" of 743505920 bytes
Error 3
Is there a way to fix this? Tested in Win 7/8.1/10 Pro, with same results..
Edit the Batch File as below
You have to REM the DateStampCode::iso86 cls REM set dtStamp=%date:~-2%%date:~4,2%%date:~7,2% If not exist "%~dp0Winpese_x86\Sources\Boot.wim" (
I just realized, that although I have been using the excellent Win PE SE, for more than a year, a tool that has saved my a** quite a few times, I hadn't congratulate the developer for his work.
So here it goes:
Jimmy @Kyhi, thanks a lot for your effort to make this a really great tool. Please keep up the good work!!

Does anybody knows if there is a way to run Kyhi's BRD with some older laptops/netbooks with just 1GB RAM?
So far I have been unable to run it (not enough memory), although W10 installation runs fine.
Too bad because it's very handy and good.
I will forward you link to an x64 ISO where the Apps run from the USB stick - and not from memory/ram..
You must copy the contents of ISO to a fat32 formatted USB..
Although as I type this I just realized that x64 is not what you probable need with 1GB of memory..
But Yes it is possible to create PE that uses very little RAM, as the Apps are run from and stored on USB writable media...
Is there any program on this USB that can shrink system partition Windows Server Essentials 2016 or migrate it to a smaller SSD? Thanks
