    Amazing how small drives were big enough. not to long ago...

    Just as Amazing is that in this modern age somebody is still using Discs, You must be like me and still have a few 10 inch stacks of discs laying around.. You know the time when every program you download was written to a disc for safe keeping 700 mb at a time, only to have them fail to burn properly and become flying discs. And then the multi cases of disc organizers you needed to hold them all.. And then the invent of Double layer DVD discs made the world a better place.

    On my old 2004 I've managed to install W10 on doesn't boot from any USB stick nor will it boot from a KYHI recovery DVD. However, it does boot from other bootable DVDs e.g. those made by the Media Creation Tool. I wonder why the KYHI recovery DVD fails to boot on older PCs?

    Use UltraISO and extract the boot information file (.bif File) from a bootable disk. then use UltraISO to burn the PE ISO to a DVD disc, but you must select > make disk bootable and use the .bif file you just extracted to make disc bootable..

    Thank you for the generous offer. Your rescue PE is a work of art. I'm sure it represents many hours of hard work and is truly impressive. No complaints here as I'm still getting a feel for what I can do with it. I just started using W10. With 80gb of system, I've found your rescue disk w/ MR6 saves 43 minutes over a MR7/full W10 environment backup. I'm sold on your rescue disk. The only issue I've found is my laptop appears to experience a shell quirk with random explorer crashes that always recovers. It's random because I've not isolated any pattern but it is probably my rig not playing well.

    WinBuilder looks fun and challenging which I'm sure requires a sizeable time investment. Time is one commodity I'm in short supply of. I need more tools like your rescue disk.

    Just a followup to on using a USB drive instead of a DVD Disk , I tried it on an even older machine this morning and it worked fine, being patient is the key on REALLY old machines which may in fact be USB1.1 ?, it can take 30 mins or even longer for the WIM file to be expanded....the Blue win10 icon should come up fairly fast but it can take a while to get to the Kyhi Desktop, I knew it was working as the USB Drive I have has a flashing LED if being accessed so I just waited.

    As a side note once at the Kyhi desktop , is there a way to change screen resolution ?, have not had an issue before but on this 2nd old machine the default is too large and the start menu is partially not visible and full screen apps open with hidden scrollbars etc.

    Should I not use the File that was attached here Kyhi ? I see you removed it , I was about to thank you for posting it... and the .bifs

    I had a question in regards to this link "Reset Dell Service, Ownership and Asset Tags & Bios Passwords." It is broken. Does the image include this already or is this something that can be obtained from Dell. Thanks!
