    What option are you selecting when you run modify WinPESE?

    Select option 2 for x86 boot.wim

    And what version of windows are you running the cmd from

    It is a problem with the Boot.wim that you modified and captured, then.

    So can I assume the boot.wim you are modifying is the original one from the ISO

    Yes but why? I'm using the latest build from this site. That's what i can't figure out.

    Are you getting any DISM error messages during mounting or capture ???

    also if "Extracted-WimImage_x86" folder present in same directory as cmd > delete that folder and empty recycle bin

    then try modifying again, just to test..

    No DISM error messages. I have my recycle bin hidden and set to not save anything once i delete it.

    is that folder still present?

    Sorry program uses wimlib-imagex.exe not DISM, so will not pull dism errors

    No. Not once it creates the boot.wim file.

    Got me at a lose then, why the ORG works and your Modified version does not

    what is the file size difference between to two boot.wims
