Post some examples of you customizing :)
Haven't done anything with 10 yet, too early to do it, I'll wait for the RTM version to come out, this way I know the OS is not going to change after that. It's really a waste to do it now because you don't know from on month to the next what they will be changing and I'm not one for chasing mine and Microsoft's tail around.

I mean all one has to look at is the default wallpaper for Windows 8, it's a picture of where a wall meets a ceiling, this is art? no, it's a picture of a wall and a ceiling, I mean .... REALLY?

Yep I doubt I would even use start8 or classic shell at this early stage but Microsoft might notice if users did in the early stage while monitoring systems as they are doing now

Look forward to anything you finally do when appropriate :)
    Let me know
    Cheers.

There's nothing to customize with so many elements running from containers! :/

Oh I beg to differ, there are already some working on it and getting some real good results.
You needs to check out sites like MSFN, Virtual Customs and Windows Style Builder, these are sites where they are tearing apart the OS for customization purposes.

Bless them tweakers for their awesome efforts but yes it's way to early to know what to really do with it,

I believe allot of the assessment assumes a user would want to use a Microsoft account

To be honest if you really wanna use a 3rd party start menu on windoss 10 tech preview then I would use classicshell cos there's a lot you can do like make your pc boot straight to the desktop (although you can do that manually) and customise it with the attractive price of free. I don't care about the start menu im sticking with the start screen (thats my opinion so no hate replies ok?).

I'm not being mean or anything but I joined this forums about 7 months ago so I don't understand why I'm new or is it because I have "Junior Member" below my username.
