The control panel colors are in the win10PE registry already...

One dependency I found was needed in win8.1PE was . Pidgenx.dll

Once program launched error message showed pidgenx.dll missing > added to PE and worked..

    EDIT:

    Thanks..

v5655 Displays correctly in my Win8.1PE / Win10PE, so has to be something to do with program scheme in new version
Like I said CP Registry keys already there.. So there must be another dependency somewhere
Thanx, thing is I'm not doing anything different for Win8 - do you have a link to your Win10PE image so that I can do a debug?

@Kyhi, it's due to a lack of the "Window" reg. key. See below the minimum it requires to display correctly. However I notice a font (Webdings) missing as well, thus the min/close buttons display the incorrect text.

KYHI, do you have a link for the custom WinPE image you've been working on? I have a need to run ShowkeyPlus from PE and it sounds like you have this working with the latest SKP version.

A few posts back I had stated to Superfly that being able to use ShowKeyPlus in a PE environment would be a nice feature..
As if an OS crashes and the user has lost the product key email - we needed a way to retrieve the product key from the OS..

Superfly, responded stating he would have to create a winpe with .NET Framework to test Showkey..
So as time goes and with Superfly's help, I was able to incorporate Showkey in winpe..

As you know many programs allow you to make Rescue Disks or Bootable Media..
For use as some type of tool, for the off-line OS..
Well, just took it all one step farther and combined them all into one PE environment...

Since this PE is really off topic,

Thank Superfly for all his development work with ShowKeyPlus..
Super nice program, very useful and the best OS key finder program > hands down..
