I've checked, it's the same on a physical W11 machine. On further investigation it is only the .exe version that's a bit too transparent to read easily. The Store app version has no transparency.
Further to that, it is only transparent when it has focus, switch focus away (eg: click on the Taskbar) and it looses transparency and becomes readable.
Edit: The above test was with an older version, 1.1.14.1. The current version 1.1.16.0 is acceptably less transparent.
Having a another look at this - it does not seem to be a transparency issue - see gross transparency in this post ShowKeyPlus
The text is not subject to transparency - it only affects the background - we need to look elsewhere for the problem...
I note the Personalise lag in Colour settings has been fixed in Win 11's latest update - @swarfega are you still getting this issue with the update?
I also note acrylic has only been extended to the context menu with the latest CU, but I have persisted with it, albeit with much more subtlety
