    Thanks for the explanation. The tooltip will be a welcome addition - not that many retail users are likely to come across a MAK key (not legally, anyway)
    Anyone who upgrades to PfW via the store gets a generic MAK - it is perfectly valid. I think it applies to the Professional Education version too but I don't have a key for that so idk.

    It's a definite MAK key (given the PID), just weired that Store uses that for retail upgrades.. 'suppose Workstation is supposed to be Volume and confusion reigns with the upgrade?

    Cool hey budette,

    Any idea what would happen if I include auto-update in the desktop version? Right! AV's would be all over it like a rash... LOL

    I think the Privacy policy proviso in the UWP version was related to auto-discovery, TBH.

    I can confirm uwp version of showkeyplus npw works when running 1803 Pro in S mode. I could not sideload it before into S Mode.

    @Bree
    Deleted previous post while investigating a possible loophole with MAK's.

    Wow - I have never had such an honour . I would ask if it is hereditary but I do not have any offspring.

    Still, us Brits are never quite sure what a Vice President actually is. We have concluded it means we are in charge of porn, gambling and extortion :-D.
