Yeah - got same message - even tried putting it in the Trusted certificate store but UWP installer fell over.

You need to manually select the correct storage place for the cert.

You need to run it elevated, though:

By the way my settings is set to side load.

If I try and install it without uninstalling the first version, will it update, or do I need to uninstall first?
    Or should I just try?

This time the new cert installed no problem(I let it default).
I did uninstall the first version though.

    Got it working now.

At first, I could not get showkeyplus to install until I set certificate install as "Local Machine" rather than "Current User".

So for me, and as (possible) guide to others

    1) Install certificate as "Local Machine" to certificate storage location "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities"

    2) Install Showkeyplus (having set sideload apps in Settings, Update and Security, For Developers

    3) Right click on Showkyplus in Start menu, and "Run as Administrator"

Now the acid test is will it run in Win 10S?
I am guessing it will not let me sideload and app - I will report back.

    EDIT 1
: As I suspected, there is no sideload option (or any developer mode option in Win 10S. So I assume this can only be used on Win10S once a full fledged Store app

EDIT 2: It runs ok in a Pro VM.

EDIT 3: I think it would be a good idea to also add text "Showkeyplus" on tile icon as well as the icon symbol. Due to rather crap vision, I tend to read text as much as identify with icons, and I find it easier to read text.

For some reason the program is reporting that I have an OEM key which is not present in firmware. I have the original 10240 dvd when which came out in 2015. Should I change the number to the one on the box?
