Hi, I downloaded 1.0.7060 today from Majorgeeks and when I ran it through VirusTotal it came up with the following warning:

    BitdefenderTheta Gen:NN.ZemsilCO.33558.@p0@aCRJC3l

I'm not sure if it is a false positive or not but wanted to pass it along

    Thanx for letting me know...

I notice it's only the 32-bit version that gets flagged.

Both x64 versions (1.0.7060 and the latest Preview version) passes all engines.

The 32-bit Preview gets a detection
    VirusTotal

These are false positives - those lesser known engines have not white-listed it yet.

Interesting... I didn't even realize there were 2 different versions in that zip. After opening it up and looking closer I saw there were and re-ran VT on both. Like you said it is only the 32bit version which gets flagged and only by that single scanner.

Anyway thanks for the program and the quick reply

If you want to avoid the false positives you can get the UWP version at the store: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9PKVZCPRX9NV

Unless you really need the portable version.
The best useful with thing about the portable, you can use it on all your PCs and virtual machines, and copy the Windows keys to the USB the portable version is on, to have all Windows keys in one place(or do it through OneDrive, Google Drive or the like).

I looked at the version above on the Microsoft store and it said it had a free trial... Does that mean it expires after a certain period of time??

My main reason for grabbing this took is I wanted to check the key on a machine that I upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro. The standalone program did show the new Win10 key but didn't display the old Win7 key. It just said Windows 7 OEM marker present in firmware

That's new to me, you'll need to wait until @Superfly comes back here and sees your post, to get an answer.

Looks like I selected the wrong option under Trial - I selected Unlimited instead of No Trial.. (duh)

I'll update that when the new version gets published.

If the Win 10 upgrade was done from within Win 7 then the original key should be retained.

Try the Preview version from the OP - I made some changes to the Original key/edition code in the that version.

I found a link for a preview version so downloaded that. First thing I noticed was the warning from Windows Defender but I ran it anyway. It gave the same info as the other version. It just says OEM Key: Windows 7 OEM marker present in firmware. It doesn't show the old Windows 7 key anywhere just the new Windows 10 one.
