Problem with UAC in win 10

    Hello,

I have an connection manager for my 3g dlink modem, it will not run on win10 until i unless i login with the administrator But the problem is that i can not run Microsoft edge or calculator when i'm logged in with administrator !! And if i make some modification to run Microsoft edge and other microsoft applications in the admin account, the 3g connection manager will not run anymore!

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum

If you navigate to the file using file explorer and then do a properties of this file, do you see an option near the bottom that mentions unblock?

I have done this a couple of times, but unfortunately don't have a file at hand to check with to see the exact wording

The reason I believe its blocked is because the Publisher is not shown

*just to note to anyone reading, if this does show it and allows unblocking it should only be used for files you trust

    Hi ,

I have no option to unblock the application. Just uploaded the blocked app so you may check and advice if possible

Unfortunately I am not aware of any other fixes for this

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on UAC can answer

Is you UAC set to the default level?
