I am trying to improve my knowledge of this tool (tablet) and streamline how it is used by those others who use the specific software I am using. We now sell these pads as field data gathering tools (with Windows 10 OS) and it seems to me that if what the senior member said about this being the norm for tablet mode, ie the start screen being maximized and any programs started would automatically be minimized... well that would be really defeating the purpose of tablet mode (I hope windows 10 programmers are reading this).
Why would I want to have the big tiles to start the program, but then have to pull up the tiny icon from the task bar to open the program????
The whole point of having the large tile icons of tablet mode is so I don't have to pull up tiny stuff with the touch screen. I will continue to look for the setting that proves to me Windows did not do something this stupid. Why would I want the start screen to continue maximized after I start the program for which I made sure I had a big tile to make it easy to start??????? sheesh... a little frustrated here.
