Cannot install or update Apps Windows Store , error 80073DOA

I cannot install anything from Windows Store. It will down load normally & then fail with error 80073DOA. Updates to Apps also fail to install with the same error. I have run wreset ( several times) but still no joy. Date & Time Zone are correct.

Windows Firewall must be enabled to allow the Store to Update & Install!
Found this by accident. I was running the Firewall that came with Norton Security. Why this is a requirement I don't know. Disabling the Norton Firewall was easy but there was no option to turn the windows Firewall back on as Norton had taken over so
I went into Services & did it from there. All working fine now :)))

No. I couldn't find anything either. Really getting fed up with it. I have a stack of updates waiting in the queue ' pending' its got to be something locally that's stopping the install. I have Norton Security but turning that off had no effect.

Hi Ros, Today i was not able to Install any app or game in windows store. It was downloading, Acquiring license, Installing and showing error. Might be the case is same for you too.

I tried wsreset.exe, Adding Some folder in C:\Windows but then i found notification in task bar that said i need to verify my microsoft account. I verified it with my phone number and the problem was solved.

Just go to start > Settings > account and see if there is an option to verify. if there is, then try and verify if that helps you to get rid of this error.

Might not work but you can try.

Fixed it! I went to look at my account & it was verified. I then started to look around & noticed my account 'Language' was set to English ( United States) so I changed it to English UK & all is working fine!! So simple!!!
