I seem to remember these watermark removers causes all sorts of instability in the Windows 7 leak days.

I'm not really understanding why one would be testing a new operating system and want to remove that little bitty water mark.

This topic is on most forums at present. My question is "What Watermark", I don't have one. Is it unique to enterprise, which I have not downloaded?

You should have it, bottom right corner, both editions of Tech Preview:

I think it's a useful reminder, I would not remove it even if these watermark removers were reliable.
