SW Reporter doesn't have to be malware to screw up your system. If it blocks Norton, and you rely on Norton for security, then it will leave you exposed to online viruses. I just received a Norton message like the others listed here, and it seems a little strange that a program with only 5 users and created a week ago would pass muster with Norton. Other packages were rejected with better diagnostics than this (although the Reporter was signed by Google). The fact that Norton passes software that interferes with it is also strange. But then, this is Norton; and I've been sorely disappointed with them this past year. When my current subscription expires, I'm getting something else.

This is a total pain it almost made me ditch chrome but Im so locked in with it because I had quite a lot of bookmarks, just delete it and get rid if if it will only give you higher cpu usage and disk usage sometimes. Anyway, follow each of the steps on the below site to remove it DONT LEAVE IT INSTALLED PLEASE (Dont follow 4 and 5 otherwise it will come back on reboot).
