Windows Photo Viewer is insanely slow

    Windows Photo Viewer is insanely slow


    So ever since I got windows 10 the Windows Photo Viewer is insanely slow in opening images. Takes literally like 3-4 seconds til it opens when on Windows7 it used to be instant.

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    Even after the last post in 2015 I'm still using WMP. I find Photos is fine but it tends to index pictures on any connected USB drives and NAS drives, does see slow in initial loading after booting but not bad in reopening until the next bootup or restart.
