    Only one version of Visual C ++ installed

    I followed the Microsoft recommendation

    install both 32 nd 64 bit versions of Visual C redistributable? - Google Search

    that both the 32 and 64 bit versions of this should be installed on my 64-bit Win 10 P. But in my installed programs list (Start > Add or remove a program) there is just this one single entry. Which appears to imply that the 32-bit version is not installed!
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.40.33810

    Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5011)

    Look in Control Panel> Programs and Features.

    Don't worry about it unless a program isn't working and you see an error.

    There are all in one installers for these VC++ runtimes but you don't necessarily need all of them.

    Just leave alone unless there is a problem.

    Background: I deleted about 15 of mine (2010 to 2015). One of many varied attempts to fix an unrelated obscure problem. That’s still unfixed after several more hours today. I will probably start another thread about it. I’ve since read today that the consensus, as you say, is to leave all old ones installed. So I regret doing those removals. And nervous that some of my few hundred programs will fail to run. FWIW, the dozen ‘regulars’ in my taskbar loaded OK.

    Anyway, as described, I then installed the very latest pair as described. And remain unclear how why both 32 and 64 bit versions are not listed.

    You could just install them all which is what I do. One I had a problem and removed all versions then reinstalled them to fix it.
