Adobe Acrobat: Problem Creating a PDF
What I am trying to do is combine 7 or 8 pages of a brochure into a pdf file. It was originally paper; the pages were scanned and cropped/resized/tweaked in Photoshop and saved as jpegs. The original file size was quite large so when I saved the jpeg I downsized it to 2400px wide per page (each image is a page). My goal is to have it view at 100% on a typical screen (1920px wide) either at actual size or fit to width. I saved them at 2400 so I figured the pdf could just be set to "fit to width" and it would shrink down a bit.
Well, after combining the files into one binder it opens at over 200% to make it fit the width, 100% page size is quite small. Why is Acrobat making my 2400px images into such small pdf pages? I don't want it to be blown up because its going to lose some quality. I could save my images at a different size but I don't know what size I need to make them. I tried saving them at exactly 1920px wide but when I view the resulting pdf at actual size it looks like its half the screen size, and fit to width is blown up to 204%!
