    Windows 10 *Mobile* apps

Ever heard of "Windows 10 Mobile"? Yeah, I know. But I'm looking for a shirt-pocket size device to use when both my Windows 10 tablet and Android phone have to be left at home. The one I've found that I actually like best, and that is most like my tablet, uses 10 Mobile.

So, my first dumb question to annoy the forum with, is "where do I get Windows 10 Mobile apps?" Is there a 10 Mobile forum? Is there a replacement app store?

And yes, I know I'm probably better off with Android, and I'm looking at an Android option too. But I really like the hardware features of the Windows option. So please, humor me. At least for now.

    Thank you!

No offence intended, but that is not a helpful answer. I know it's not supported by Microsoft. So what? There are many third party app stores/download sites for very much older and more obscure operating systems. Is there one for 10 Mobile?

I especially want an office suite. No, it doesn't come with one. It comes infected with cloudware that can't be used without an internet connection and a paid subscription. Is open office available?

    Offline maps?

    E-Readers?

I have never heard of an OS called 10 Mobile.
I think your best chance of getting your questions answered is to ask whoever told you about 10 Mobile.
Is it, perhaps, a proprietary OS for that particular tablet?

More generally, I'd prefer a shirt-pocket-sized device that ran Windows as well but, since this is unlikely to happen, wouldn't an acceptable solution be to get a shirt-pocket-sized Android phone?
    - My phone has an email app.
    - I can read and, in many cases, edit almost all my MSOffice files in my Android.
    - I also sync my MSOffice Outlook Calender-Contacts-Tasks-Notes with it.
    - I routinely drag emails that I want to retain from MSOffice Outlook into my computer's filing system where they become .msg files and I have an app to be able to read them on my phone as well.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

Ten mobile was Microsoft's failure against the iPhone. You can get UI's for Android that make it look like 10 Mobile, but there is zero out there for 10 mobile that would even be legal downloads.

Depending on the size of your pocket, the hp Stream 7 might be a good choice.

I meant an 'acceptable solution' for you.
