    Possible to downgrade to DirectX 11?


    Title, pretty much, Is this possible win Windows 10? I see references to dxcpl, which looks like you need to download the Windows SDK to get, but could I then use that to add explorer.exe to the list and set it to DX11?

    No there really is no way to downgrade since the higher versions of Dx are supposed to be backwards compatible.

I recently installed windows 10 from windows 7 on my laptop. However, I see that after running dxdiag I have DirectX 11.1 instead of 12. I thought Windows 10 is supposed to come with DirectX 12? What is wrong here?
