Show running app minimized for all users - Windows 10

I have an app - NordVPN - which I have configured within the app to launch on startup and then display the program icon minimized in the system tray. This works with the main user - me.

My wife also has a user account and the program does run in background but the program icon is not displayed in the system tray.

Is there a way to show the NordVPN icon minimized in the system tray for all users?

Login to your wives profile, Right click the Taskbar/Taskbar Settings, click the link Select Which Icons Appear on the Taskbar. Turn Nord VPN ON.

Have followed your instructions but although NordVPN is running, having been activated automatically on the prime users account (me) the NordVPN icon does not appear in the task bar of the second user (wife) unless the NordVPN.exe is run by the second user.

This second instance of NordVPN does not connect, due presumably to a conflict with the initial instance of the app. Consequently, the icon appears minimised but displays as 'not connected' although, in fact the VPN is running.

    Hope the above is intelligible?
