Wbat do you use (recommend) as a PDF editor application?
I occasionally need to combine PDFs, shrink the size, optimize, and edit (add text) to existing PDFs.
I'm curious what all you Windows 10 users currently use for these tasks?

Hi, there are free online options and sometimes giveaways if you don't wish to pay for a full-blown pdf editor.
E.g. I've acquired giveaways of PDF-Xchange, APowerPDF, Perfect PDF 11 Premium...
Adobe offers a free online pdf editor:

Here's another random one - the features list on the left pretty much matches what you mention:
PDF Editor Free - Edit PDF and Form Filler Online - PDFescape
There are many...
The free editors run into two types normally
1) those that are more geared to adding/deleting pages and reordering.
2) Those more geared to annotation.
For type 1 - PDF Split and Merge Basi os a good tool.
For the second type, Adobe Acrobat Reader has some basic annotation tools.
In the end, there are dozens of tools and you just have to test them to find which one suits you.
The Rolls Royce tool is Bluebeam Revu but that costs hundreds each year. I need it in my job but could never justify the cost personally.
Hi Sammy888
If you don't mind running an older version of Acrobat, 9 standard (iso) is available for free. It's what i'm currently using now and it's legit. I tried the new version of Acrobat and found it cartoonish and over priced.

I have no need for a PDF editor. I just use a PDF Reader. In the past I've used this when I've needed to do more and it's one of the better free PDF editors.

I have used PDFill for more than a decade.

Adobe Acrobat is king for me, although I really hate Adobe's subscription model.
For a premium/paid version. Foxit PDF Editor (Pro) is really good. I tried it and I like it much better than Adobe. It's also cheaper but it's not worth it (for me) to buy a subscription. Before I retired, I would use Adobe at work. We used an older version unlike the cartoonish one they have now.
