    Trying to uninstall Aomei backupper pro


    Hello all,
    I am trying to uninstall Aomei, get a message saying the file doesn’t exist, please see enclosed photo.
    I did got to a previous restore point hoping it would open ok, but it’s still the same, missing descriptions of tasks available, copy, clone etc, so I decided to uninstall, but still can’t do
    I have done sfc /scannow, says found corrupted files and repaired them, did a restart, still the same
    Would really appreciate help please

    Cannot upload photo

    Message I get is

    Uninstall

    C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI\AOMEI
    Backupper\7.3.2\ unins000.dat does not exist.Cannot uninstall.

    This is what you might expect to see:

    Two options:
    a. Try reinstalling the same version of the program to the same location and then uninstall

    b. Use a (free) 3rd party uninstaller with a custom or forced uninstall feature where you browse to a significant folder or exe file and let the uninstaller remove it. That may take several attempts if the target program is fragmented- hence (a) is a better option.

    Note: your full build number is something like 19045.3693
    I.e. there are numerous versions of 22H2.

    Many thanks for your help
    I did use a third party program, revo uninstalled and managed to remove it
    Also thanks for info on posting photos, I have had trouble doing this in the past.
