Does Anyone Know Why MS Store Keeps Disappearing?

A search tells me that this has been happening for years! Why?
I'm sick of doing elevated CMD or Poweshell and entering wsreset -i to get it back.
Then I have to reinstall all my recent Apps.
    Tedious nonsensical keystrokes.
    Any answer to the riddle?

By way of a stab in the dark- perhaps a side-effect of something else you have running or have configured.

Example: recently I had 1 PC that would not cast a mp3 file to my TV 'Unexpected device error'. A possibly related service was starting either, although properly configured in the registry.

Detailed investigation, starting with the event viewer message, revealed a range of ports was blocked, including the one mentioned in the event viewer message. It seems enabling Hypervisor can block a large number of ports, and years ago I had tried and then (I thought) removed it.

When I ran the command to remove it (even though it wasn't present) ports were unblocked and the service was restored and I could cast successfully.

I can only suggest you look for something that triggers the 'loss' or perhaps more likely the disabling of the Store. Perhaps something a little less common you have on your PC. Also research causes as to why the Store may not launch, not just ways to 'fix' it.

FYI: the Store now has an additional 'feature' related to AI. Wonderful!

Check if there is an update issue (MS Store), the updates, naturally, remove and then add the new app, this might be worth checking, like... for example, disable automatic updates on your MS Store settings.

The closest thing I've experienced happened while running Windows 10 on ARM32 (Surface RT), it happened to lots of us. Basically, there are multiple store versions and not all of them worked with W10 ARM32, so... most times you had to manually update it and put a new working version, OTHERWISE you had to disable updates. If you didn't do any of those 2 things, W10 auto updated the store leaving it unusable, or gone. This would also affect your store apps.

If you know the approximate time- or even day- you lose access to the Store (tricky, as you'd have to keep checking it works) you could see what
    - your event viewer reports
(there are free utilities which list logged events purely linearly)
    - your Update History shows

If you can correlate loss of Store with something, that would be a start.
(In the example I quoted, the event viewer gave the clue- but I only had to look for events at the time I used Cast.. which was also readily repeatable.

Your loss of Store will probably be erratic and at long intervals.

The last time I realised it was missing there hadn't been any major updates at all.
Very strange. That leads me to think it's something else I have installed.
    I'll find culprit eventually.

The "Store" is a window to access via your MS-account. You do not need to login, nore you need the store to use your apps. My opinion I would look for an installation of the store and attempt to reinstall it.

Recently I had a problem where all my store apps stopped working. Why? I moved my drive to another computer which works perfectly fine. Apparently the apps all have association with the last machine I was using. go figure.
