note pad on the phone

does anyone here have a good easy to use note pad for an android phone? i have simple notepad and that is hard to import files from another phone. it exports good but just will not import.. i had to do a reset on my a51 because the usb will not connect to the pc. turns out the phone is going bad. but before i get another phone i have to get the notes back that i backed up. samsung failed to warn me to make sure i had the correct phone number to recover them. now i'm locked out for 2 weeks

that did not work as i have not got my data back. i did have some notes there.

i lost the usb connections to the pc from the a51 and the samsung YT said to do a rest thru there accounts page and first do a backup and then reset and then restore. never did they say to make sure the account info was correct.

so like a dummy i did the backup and then reset and then went to do the restore and i had the wrong phone and number for that in there account and they have to send a 2 factor and the number was for a phone number that was a tracfone number and that has been gone now for 2 years. so i finally got the new number on the account and now i have to wait 2 weeks to be able to do a restore from samsung. the tech guys can't even reset the 2 factor number. was a sorry site. i can't even get on their forums because they need that number.

ok i tried again on samsung notes and because i had the wrong phone number and they never gave a warning that resetting the phone with incorrect account data would lose the data. sorry system for sure. every app gives a warning but for the phone system. anyway that fails so i just as oon not use something that may never give me back the backups. thanks

yes i even had tech online and they sent me the page to do it but it takes 2 weeks. so yesterday i tried again and i was successful at getting the new phone number but again 2 weeks for them to send me the code to that new number so they can verify me and the phone. i sure would have been nice to have them pop up some warning that i had to make sure i had the correct phone number. i mean how many people change their numbers? i changed mine because it was a tracfone and i got a free number thru the wifes metro plan as i switched. i never gave that a thought as i figured they would also allow email for the 2 step like everyone else does.
