Find or Search in NotePad

Notepad search has a direction.
Look in its dialog box and you'll see that.
Perhaps you are telling it to search Down when you are already at or near the end of the document.

1 Search for directly and eventually you'll reach the end of the document.

2 Now try to search for galleries and it won't find anything.


3 Move your cursor to the top of the document and search again for it to find galleries.

You could change the search direction to Up instead if you preferred.

Search and find. For the next search for different terms move the cursor back to the start of the document.

Click inside the notepad document then press [CTRL+Home] to move to the top. Then enter your new search term.

I do not know what you are talking about. Notepad shows text not files.
