As far as I can work out that member never got this software to run on 64bit Windows 10. The question to be answered is where is the data stored? On your working copy look in the program folder and see which folders and files it contains. I can't tell you where to look because it depends upon where you chose to install it.
Correct- but I think used it in a VM- and as a user, might be able to see where the data is. Further- in moving to a new installation in a VM, may have moved data...

    Might need 32 bit win10.
@SIW2 - yes, we've mentioned that, though potentially Callender found a way to have it work in 64 bit Windows. BUT since all functions have NOT been tried, there may be aspects that don't run in 64 bit Windows.

Absolutely no guarantees. And Help won't work - if it's the old help format there may still be a way to fix that (Google/search tenforums).

@mazza91 - there are some possible places it may keep data- perhaps in C:\ProgramData (a hidden folder) or in its install folder or more likely a folder under your User Profile folder.

hi again, the data is stored under GSP - with subfolders MM and Data - for each account there are three files i.e.
    ***.bak ***.mny and ***.wld
    the MM folder contains:
BARSV3.DLL EXMPL_ST.MNY INSTALL (TEXT FILE) MM2 UNSTALL EXAMPLE.MNY GSP (HELP FILE) MM (HELP FILE)

    hope this helps.......!

    where is GSP ?

is that the name of a folder in Program Files, or in Appdata , or in Programdata ?

I have never heard of that program before, but it should be possible to track changes made by the installation - there are some programs that can do that.

When the changes are known it could be possible to reproduce them on a different machine/os

So install as per Post #5 then copy those files/ folders across. If it doesn't wok then your only options are a VM or some other emulator.

EDIT: Install to the same location as your working copy.

You didn't say where the folder GSP is located. Install to the exact same location if possible.

Or else do a fresh install and start from scratch. Let us know if it works.

It entirely depends upon where the user installs it.

I'd say copy MM and Data and test.

I just get this after a default install. Folder GSP and subfolder MM2

Are there any other changes or is it running portably? Even portables will often have a database file in AppData.

Did you check for all file and registry changes ? Has it added an openwith entry or any other reg entries?

It just adds a start menu entry and shortcut. Nothing in Appdata.

    There's an empty folder here:
    C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\GSP STAR Collection

    a shortcut here:
    C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\GSP
