[SOLVED] [Calc] Start with basic layout?

    Hello,

I'd like to have Windows 10's Calc always start with the basic layout.

Currently, it always starts with the big layout, with the history/memory column on the right… that I don't need.

Is there a switch I could use or tell Calc to remember the default it last used before closing?

    Thank you.

Click on the app's minimize button.

Thanks, but as said, I already know about that button: I'm looking for a way to have it start with the basic UI so I don't need to click every time.

Or an alternative app. The few I looked at on alternativeto.net are more complicated that MS'. I just need a basic calc.

Hover your cursor over the right window edge & it will turn into a double-headed arrow that lets you click & drag that edge inwards until the history-memory area disappears.
It will thereafter start with the basic display without any history-memory area.
