I tend to agree although personally when I launch any new program for the first time I make a habit of going through as many configuration settings as possible before actually using the program.

If you downloaded it because you read this thread then there are warnings even in the first post.

before it starts the uninstall it specifically tells you to close all open applications , even says do not touch the mouse during the process...so yea ...quess that's your own fault ?

Excellent program. Being testing for some days and do the things well.
An advice: If we have the reboot option selected, even still you should put a warning message before reboot like:

"The system is about to reboot. Please save your work." with a continue and cancel button.

    Keep the good job.

It's indeed slow at detecting installed programs- minutes vs seconds achieved by
    - Soft Organizer
    - Geek Uninstaller
    - Wise Uninstaller

    BUT
    - it found leftovers of 5 programs none of those flagged, including 1 responsible for some 400Mb.

So perhaps there's value in a slow scan.

    (I guess I didn't install that one with a 3rd party uninstaller...)

It doesn't offer to create a restore point before uninstalling (Revo does)
Annoyingly after uninstalling it rescans...for several minutes again...

After 3 uninstalls of leftover programs, the last 2 of insignificant size, I got
    'Out of Memory'

Also Avast flags some tmp file to be run on restart each time.

I found it slow to scan too. It runs a script on boot so Avast is just doing it's job. Really this program is just for testing as the author has stated that eventually it will be incorporated into PowerTools when stable.

On another note I used the installation monitor to install then uninstall a program and it worked great.

However there was one program I installed for testing and it did not detect it. It was an old program. (VuePrint. Not recommended to install it)
