Win 10 Tweaker Unwanted Application - Uninstall instructions, and PC cleanup
What do you guys think? I have Winaero installed on my system, Win 10 Pro, and Norton Security does not flag this program.
I hope this is supposed to be humorous.

its a Russian program by the looks of it which does not mean anything but Russian software has always been questionable. Not saying this because of the current world affairs, this has always been the case well before the war.
here is a backstory on the application and it is apparently known to have backdoors.

I always customise my systems [ normally through Scripting ] and found thatWinaero Tweakerwas one of the best and is really quite good. I did test outWin 10 Tweakera few years ago and it didNOTfit my needs.
So to answer your question,Winaero Tweakeris credible, but personally I wouldNOTlike to say the same forWin 10 Tweaker, although I didNOThave any problems with it while testing and using it a few years ago.

I use software with VT detections.Multiple antivirus scanners on VirusTotal detect the installer for Win 10 Tweaker as malicious. Therefore, it is strongly recommended not to trust this program. It is very likely that Win 10 Tweaker is promoted using questionable download sources.
Some AVs literally say: Not-a-virus:UDS:RiskTool - because it can "damage" Windows, like to disable Defender.
Recently Google promoted a lot of legitimate apps like 7zip bundled with malware, that is not app's fault.Win 10 Tweaker may be bundled with malware or other unwanted software such as adware.
Always download from the homepage or trusted sources to avoid something like that and it should be fine.

I could not even download it because my browser guard blocks it and because of the way the website is coded i couldn't even VT the download link without actually downloading the program and VTing that instead which i was stopped in doing.
Safe to say its no good if multiple people are coming to the same conclusion.
