Impossible to install MS Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable x64

Windows makes it is impossible for me to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x64 package.
(my system is Windows 10 x64)

A simple search reveals that many Windows users have this issua and it's become a notorious problem.

    What I've done so far:

In Control Panel I uninstalled all instances of Microsoft Visual C++ ... Redistributable, all existing versions.
I downloaded MS Troubleshooter and made sure there are no leftovers of the uninstalled packages.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...b-e9f927e1eb4d

I searched registry for "Microsoft Visual C++" and deleted all instances that contained "Microsoft Visual C++ ... Redistributable x64 or x86"

Deleted all content in \Downloads and \ProgramData\Package Cache

    In Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products
I deleted all sub-keys referring to Visual C++

    and then restarted PC.
    C:\Users\JPA\Desktop\vcRuntimeAdditional_x64\AttachedContainer\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64
I made sure that in services.msc Windows Installer is running.

After doing all this, VC_redist.x86.exe and it installs properly; however x64 fails to install, and it will forever output the same error:

First issue: when VC_redist.x64.exe runs, it stops and says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" and prompts to choose the source in the "Use source" field.
    I click Browse and surprise, the vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi file is actually there (created by the same VC_redist.x64.exe in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{D5D19E2F-7189-42FE-8103-92CD1FA457C2}v14.36.32532\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64);
and if I click OK it spits another error- "not a valid installation package" !
    I attach both error screenshots.
Why stupid Windows says it's unavailable is a mystery...

    I would appreciate any help.

    @Ranger1

Download, save to desktop, and try to install this...

Latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One May 2023 Download | TechPowerUp

When finished, it should look like this.
Yes, you need the older versions, for some older software.

    Thank you for the link.
The bat file installed all packages except the latest one ~2022 x64.

When it reached that one, it threw exactly the same errors that I inddicated in the first post...

Looks like you tried some research online and tried suggestions. I see a bunch of your tries were from online suggestions.
    1) What I don't see in your first post is, check out the "Windows Installer" section:
How to fix Windows 10 'network resource unavailable' errors | Windows Central

Sorry, I just saw you tried this

    2) Try "Solution 2":
Fix: The feature... on a network resource is unavailable - Appuals.com

    3) Number 5 ("End Task") & Number 6 ("Register for Windows Installer service"):

I never have any trouble with Windows updates... but the .NET Framework 4.8.1 update on the 27th, really struggled to install. It took forever. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Oops sorry. Redacted post / already suggested above.

Edit: Actually not redacted anymore. Still similar to Ghot's suggestion, but try Method 8, with the additional "Dism" command that's suggested:

Thanks, I did everything mentioned in Method 8 in Fix: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error In Windows - Appuals.com
including running as admin, and in the end it stopped at the last step, unable to install the latest one, for x64.
So I'm getting exactly the same error message...

An In-Place Upgrade "compares" what is installed on the computer, with the Windows ISO image.
Then, it overwrites corrupted Windows files, with clean copies from the ISO image.
This is how it "repairs" Windows while allowing you to keep your programs and personal files.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

Here is the short version of the In-place upgrade tutorial...

    DISABLE non-Microsoft:
    a) antivirus software
    b) firewall software
    c) drive encryption software

Make a full OS backup with a program like Macrium Reflect or AOMEI Backupper Standard
Making a backup is optional, but always a smart move.
If you had a backup from before this problem occurred, you wouldn't be reading this.
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect for Home Use
Free Backup Software for Windows | AOMEI Backupper Standard (free)

Go here and get the Media Creation Tool and save it to your desktop.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

RUN the Media Creation Tool and use it to: Create an ISO image... save IT to your desktop.
This will be the latest version of the ISO image.
The ISO must be created in the same language as you are using in Windows, to be able to keep your Programs and Files.

Right click the ISO image and choose: MOUNT
Open File Explorer and you will see a new drive letter. It will "look" like a DVD optical drive.
Double click the new drive letter to open it.
Find setup.exe and double click it to start the in-place upgrade.

Choose the Keep personal files and apps option.

After it's all done... to UNmount the ISO image, right click the new drive letter and choose: EJECT.

The ONLY thing you will lose is some of your personalizations.
Your drivers, programs and data will be intact.
