Thanks for the suggestions, but as it turns out, I got lucky this time.

Unfortunately, my searches in the past came up with items, similar to yours, that ultimately did not have the feature I required.

In my opinion the best hardware monitor is OpenHardwareMonitor.

Extract to C:\Program Files (x86)\HardwareMonitor and run openhardwaremonitor.exe
Under options you can set to start with Windows and you can configure what to show in tray and on the gadget. Very good

Can you advise me how you got it like that. I tried to set it up, but I can't get the systray button to display numbers. Just a blank icon. I also want to hide that gadget. Can that be done?

Right click on a field (line). Than select Show in Tray and / or Show in Gadget

Right click on the system try blank icon and select to change color

I worked for the temp icon. I had to change it to white. Is there a way to increase the font size? Looks smaller in person.

But I can get rid of the gadget.

Edit: I removed the gadget, but I mistakenly selected the that icon for wattage. I want to display "load" icon, but I can't find a way to display the numbers

I already have a scheduled task for it, but it is not listed in that active tabs summary list.
If you mean the Task scheduler, Active tasks list then it means the task is either disabled or hidden.

    Thanks for the rep,
    All the best,
