I'm having an issue with my universal applications

I just recently built a new system and did a fresh install of Windows 10 from the bootable USB drive that Brink created. Everything seems to be running fine with one exception, whenever I click on any one of the universal applications from the start menu both my monitor screens flash blue and then come back to normal desktop none of the applications will open when I click on the universal applications and then choose an app.

If I type the apps name in the space it does show up and it does open that way just not when I use start> Universal applications. I would appreciate some help

It sounds like the Links are broken in the Start Menu.

Have you tried this ? > Restart Start Menu in Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

Thanks Paul, that worked perfectly using option 1. Do you know how I can remove items that are on the same start menu as the Universal applications ? My start menu has been altered by using start 10 from Stardock so my start button menu looks like the old Windows 7. When I click on the start button I have a side area that has all the things that I can choose to click on including universal applications. It's got a lot more items on that menu than I would like to have, if there's a way to remove the ones I don't want I would appreciate some help doing.

    Thanks again

    Thanks again
