OneDrive personal vault deleted

I just launched OneDrive,and it's systray menu showed that the personal vault was deleted. It's no longer in my local folder, but still exists in the cloud.

What's that about?

But I had to do a search for it in the OneDrive folder, and then unlock it. I suppose it was hidden for security purposes? Never was before.

I'm probably wrong, but I think I figured out my mistake. The Personal Vault is a folder. If you set up the OneDrive folder contents to be ordered by "Name", where the folders will be at the top of the column, first in the queue, the Personal Vault folder it's not "grouped" among the other folders. Instead, it is treated like a file.



That's why I didn't find the Personal Vault where I expected it. Can you verify?

The Personal Vault in your OneDrive folder on the PC is considered a folder shortcut to the Personal Vault on your online OneDrive (cloud). A shortcut is treated like a file for how it's listed.
