To get rid of SA, uninstalling with the Windows uninstaller does not fully remove everything. A program such as Revo Uninstaller Pro or similar is needed (uninstalling with the Windows uninstaller then running registry cleaner with CCleaner will do it).
We found this out about a year ago. A Windows update caused a SA error in certain model Alienware PC's and a gaming laptop Inspiron 5577. I have a 5577 so I was closely involved with our Dell Rockstar interface on getting it fixed. The error was in the POST (Power On Self Test) and it was erroneously reporting a memory size change alert. Uninstalling with Windows uninstaller and SA was only partially uninstalled as the POST error was still there. It took as previously noted Revo Uninstaller PRO (with registry scan) or the uninstall and CCleaner registry scan to fully remove it. In this case it took Dell about 6 weeks to issue a fix.
FWIW I have SA still installed but startup disabled. I keep it installed because of the POST and hardware diagnostics integration.
